We recently received a handful of Finnish Gas Mask Bags that we've never seen before. These are made from what seems like a lighter, softer cotton material, and are mostly a brown color (although colors seem to vary somewhat; some are almost gray). Button types vary on these. These are all stamped KSS, so that's what we're calling them.
Features:
- Almost all have a large internal divider attached to a full-width sleeve, as well as a small internal pocket with a button closure.
- Most also have a length of jute twine that pulls through an eyelet on the side and can connect to a small ring on the opposite side of the bag. We think this might be intended as a hip strap.
- Adjustable cotton webbing sling strap.
- Color, markings, and fastener types will vary from bag to bag.
