The Casualty Blanket, Type 2 is a compact, lightweight version of its bigger brother the Type 1.  Small enough to fit your pocket, first aid kit, or survival kit, the Type 2 Casualty Blanket is designed to help stabilize your core temperature in an emergency.  Casualty Blankets have a shiny aluminized side designed to reflect heat and IR signatures, and can be used to protect against both hyper- and hypothermia.

Features:

  • Non-reflective Olive Drab on one side with a reflective aluminized surface on the other.
  • Fits in the palm of your hand and unfolds to 56 in. x 96 in.  Weighs just 3 oz. Material thickness is 0.7 mil.
  • Pleat folded to 2.75 in. x 4.5 in. x 1.75 in. for easy carry in your IFAK, pocket, or PSK.
  • Made in the USA from ethylene-glycol terephthalate film for optimal ratio of durability-to-thickness.
