The Casualty Blanket, Type 3 is a more durable, high visibility orange version of the Type 2, and a lighter, more compact alternative to the Type 1.  The Type 3 Casualty Blanket comes packaged with a ground-to-air signal reference sheet that also includes brief first aid instructions (NSN: 7610-01-302-0218). The whole package is small enough to fit in your pocket, survival kit, backpack, glove box, etc.  Casualty Blankets have a shiny aluminized side designed to reflect heat and IR signatures, and can be used to protect against both hyper- and hypothermia.

• Fluorescent Orange on one side with a reflective aluminized surface on the other.
• Fits in the palm of your hand and unfolds to 56 in. x 96 in.  Weighs just 4.3 oz. Material thickness is 0.7 mil.
