Hammarö Tinder Card Lighting Paper is a safe and simple way to start a fire with wood, pellets or charcoal without spreading poisonous gases and a nasty smell. Consists exclusively of biologically degradable substances. Each Tinder Card is a flammable piece of impregnated material. Pulling the card apart produces fibrous edges that work well with a firesteel or flint/striker.
Once ignited it burns slowly like a candle helping it to easily start fires. Only a small amount is required for a survival kit, and it packs smaller than the other alternative tinder, eg, cotton wool balls etc.
