Speedhook Military Emergency Fishing Kit NSN 4220-01-379-5598

The Speedhook Military Fishing Kit is specifically designed for survival applications and is so effective, it is outlawed for non-survival use in some areas. This small device is used for fishing and trapping when no food is readily available. Fish trigger the Speedhook's spring-loaded mechanism, setting the hook with such speed and force that fish almost never escape.  This is the U. S. Military Version of the Speedhook and is often included in the Cold Weather Survival Kits of the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Coast Guard, Army Reserves and others. This version comes with fishing line, one hook, dehydrated bait and complete instructions. This is a perfect supplement to the emergency fishing kit required by Alaskan and Canadian Aviation Regulations. No fishing pole is required.
