It also has the best teeth of any wire saw we've seen.  Manufactured for the US military, it's normally included in aviation survival kits for downed pilots. 

This saw was originally manufactured by Varco. When they closed, our manufacturing partner bought their tooling and continues making this saw in the 21st Century.
